Welcome to the SSCC Parent Support Hub

Here you will find resources on using the various digital technologies and platforms that we utilise at the college.

Check for more information.

K-4

Each homeroom has access to a class set of shared iPads, which support access to the learning platforms and digital tools to further enable learning.

We use the Seesaw platform for students to reflect on and articulate their learning journey. Seesaw is visible to parents, enabling them to support their child's learning journey.

We use Compass for whole college parent communication, attendance and reporting.

In Year 4, students are introduced to their Google Drive, an online cloud storage platform, along with their school Gmail and online Google Workspace productivity suite, to support their transition to a digital learning environment.

5-12

Our 5-12 Digital Learning Toolkit provides students with access to the Canvas platform, which is used for students to access learning content, formal assessment task submissions, and feedback/forward provided for students.

We provide a Digital Portfolio platform for students to reflect on and articulate their learning journey. These portfolios are visible to parents, which helps them stay informed about their child's academic growth and development.

We use a Digital Content (Google Drive folder) to store key work samples. Automated sharing permissions are created for staff, students and parents, making it easy for everyone to access important documents and information.

We use Compass as our parent communication tool for attendance and reporting. This tool enables parents to stay connected with the school and receive important updates about their child's education. By using these tools and platforms, we ensure that every student has the opportunity to develop and showcase their academic achievements in a safe, supportive, and engaging digital learning environment.
